The Lord is king, with majesty enrobed.
The Lord is king, with majesty enrobed;
the Lord has robed himself with might,
he has girded himself with power.The world you made firm, not to be moved;
your throne has stood firm from of old.
From all eternity, O Lord, you are.Truly your decrees are to be trusted.
Holiness is fitting to your house,
O Lord, until the end of time.Responsorial Psalm for the Solemnity of Christ the King
Psalm 92(93):1-2,5
God saves through the divinity and humanity of Jesus. In him he enters into our history. In him he engages with us as one of us, and draws us to himself by his self.
In this Sunday’s feast we are invited once more to gaze on him in wonder and with thankfulness.
- What, especially, do you admire in Jesus?
- For what, especially, are you thankful?
