The Good Shepherd has risen,
who laid down his life for his sheep
and willingly died for his flock, alleluia.Communion Antiphon for the 4th Sunday of Easter
How beautiful is the imagery and how direct and moving the phrasing of the antiphon above, and given for singing at yesterday’s Mass.
How lovely the love that is given to us to raise us up, not only that we might be close and safe with our shepherd, but that we might raise to share in his ministry, what ever our state and calling.
